I have spent almost 1 year in demos. As I know that without sufficient trading expertise this trading journey can be difficult as a trader may not be able to carry out all of his trading activities systematically due to lack of education and expertise. And for this reason, a trader must spend sufficient time in the acquisition of trading knowledge with the help of demo trading accounts.

Spending time on a demo account is crucial for building trading expertise. It allows traders to learn strategies, manage risk, and understand market dynamics without financial pressure. A solid foundation in trading knowledge helps develop discipline and systematic approaches, which are essential for successful real trading.

I don’t know the exact number, but ideally, most traders switch to live accounts after gaining confidence through demo trading. Personally, I practiced extensively on demo before going live, which helped manage real-market pressure.
