Its good to know the terminology in forex. In this way you can earn and make some money in forex without any problem understanding the words that you are reading. Sometimes if you don't understand what you read you end up misinterpreting it. That's why its very important to know the difference terminology in forex.

these are useful message for me. I trade some years. I can understand what you explained. but i can not write it down by myself. It will correct my writing in English at this forum. these are basic terminology. we must know as a trader
 
yeah it will create it simpler because we just need to comprehend it and implement then I am sure that factors will be possible for you when it happens because there are just who like studying, but didn't hassle implementing so they just usually ignore.
 
This is exactly the thread I've been looking for because it provides all the terms required in Forex trading which will make it easier for newbies like me to participate in Forex discussions. It may take some time for me to get used to these terms but the more I see them, I will get familiar with them. About the Limit Orders, are they necessary to be set before a forex trader is allowed to trade OR can a Forex trader just set any Limit Orders based on his predictions about the prices of the currencies?
 
This will also help you learn to understand the language of Forex trading so you are able to follow through the learning guides. Also it will give hints for those who wants to trade because I see that traders usually don't understand it thoroughly if they just read it.The idea of Forex trading interests me.
 
Just by reading and understanding is the key to success. And sometimes if you get curious you will going to do some research to understand that word and make you learn more. This is the reason why I love to check each unfamiliar but useful forex words in his why I not only understand what its means I also know how to use it.

Forex Glossary is a word use in Forex and its meaning. The more we trade and read Forex Glossary the more we understand how forex works. Its like when I'm studying english. I read the whole english dictionary. In this way I know what this word means and so on. Same thing we must apply in forex by reading forex glossary some how we will understand what this forex word stand for.

Ask Price/ Offer Price
The ask and offer price is the price at which the market is ready to trade a specific currency. This is the price where, an investor can purchase the base currency. When seeing a quote, it is located on the right side.
For example, in the quote EUR/USD 1.4547/52, the ask price is 1.4552.

Base currency
The currency listed first in a Currency Pair is known as the Base currency.

Bids
A Bid is the price at which the investor is willing to purchase a currency.

Bid/Ask Spread
Simply stating, Bid/Ask spread is the variation between the bid and offer price. It can also be defined as the degree of difference in pips, amid the buying price and the selling price of a currency pair.

Broker
A person or an organization acting as an agent, putting together buyers and sellers for a commission or fee, can be defined as a Broker. They are the ones who work on behalf of their investors.

Counter Currency
The currency listed second in a Currency Pair is known as the Counter currency.

Currency symbols
EUR - Euro
AUD - Australian Dollar
CAD - Canadian Dollar
CHF - Swiss Franc
JPY - Japanese Yen
GBP - British Pound

Day Trading
Day trading refers to the buying and selling of positions within a single day’s trade.

Foreign Exchange
Also known as Forex or FX, it is the process of buying of one currency in exchange of other currency in an over-the-counter market.

Leverage
Leverage is the ratio of the deposited amount to the amount that can be traded. Find out Importance of Forex Leverage

Limit order
Limit orders let the Forex investors stop further trading and leave the market at preset profit objectives. It is an order which restricts the greatest price to be paid or the lowest price to be received.

Liquidity
Liquidity can be defined as the capacity of a market to allow fat transaction with negligible impact on the price stability.

Margin
Margin is the minimum amount required to be deposited before an investor starts trading. This can also be known as the initial amount with which the Forex trading account can be opened.

Pip / Point
When dealing in terms of quotes, prices are expressed in terms of Pips. Pips can be defined as “percentage in points” and are mostly the fourth decimal point i.e. 1/100th of 1%. A pip can also be defined as the smallest value at which an exchange of currency can take place.

Stop Loss Order
Stop/loss commands allow the investors to set an exit point for a loss. By limiting your losses to a pre set position, Stop/loss orders help investors control their risk conditions. 'Stop-loss' can lower an investor's exposure to risk by a large proportion.

Those are terminologies that everybody interested in learning Forex should get used to before practicing in real life or even owning a Demo Account.
 
The forex glossary I've opened an account on GFT, but when trading the news there is a huge slippage between the stop buy price I wanted & the execution price. GFT has a dealing desk.
So, what are the best forex brokers for trading the news ?
 
Sometimes its fun to read something even we are aware of it. This is something which is very good for beginners and also experts.
This is the best way to study forex trading. Just pick first ten words and try to research about those words. If you are really interested in learning you will going to find out how good that is for a site. I know theirs so many sites that we can check and hope to see if we can earn or not.
 
I just remember the school days. Like in the vocabulary strategy here is that, we will going to have first few words, try to understand the definition and then, use it in our own and then, apply it to remember what it mean. Yet, it will be applicable in Forex terms which we often read that it's complicated but soon learned it's easy to define.
 
Its really good to read and learn how to trade in forex by starting to learn glossary. In this way we know what the proper way to use words and what it means. Right now I'm happy that some how I do earn good amount of money in forex even though this month of May I really have some bad day.I do hope that in the long run I can say to myself I'm really earning good and earning well without any problem.
 
Yes, I think we can't trade at all if we don't know those ideas and terminologies, right. So, it's a normal process of learning to have first the reading before the actual trading. And yet, we all have some technical difficulties in understanding those terms when we don't actually know where it is used for or experience it.
 
Some basic terminologies is a must actually so we have better understanding of our trading :D, but in the end that is our experience that will help us a lot later, in fact this glossary actually helpful for me when i was newbie and only knew about 1% about forex, i think this kind of thread should be exist in every forex forum.
 
Its good if we can maintain and sustain our earnings in forex trading. I'm sure many of us can end up making one good profit at a time. I really do hope that in the long run I can sustain and maintain my account for good. I'm really happy that I can make something good with myself in here until I reach a point that I am a successful trader and forex glossary is the best way to start learning and earning.
