Using a big lot size is usually a bad idea because it magnifies both profits and losses. A few normal price moves can wipe out a large part of your account, even if your strategy is decent. Smaller lot sizes give you room to survive drawdowns, control emotions, and stick to your plan. Consistent growth comes from risk management and position sizing, not from trying to get rich in one trade.
