Yes you can try demo with any broker as there is no limitations in opening demo account with any broker. However in order to go live I guess hotforex, fxcm, fxprimus, lmfx etc can be few brokers to shortlist while considering a decent broker.
Any new trader who wishes to shift to live trading account should initially start with small amounts in order to check the brokers internal processes like withdrawal etc before depositing any further amount.
That's why i think we should do forex business in our part time by keeping our primary jobs intact and once we get good hands and earnings from forex trading we can fully depend on forex income.

I think traders can also become successful if they start keeping a trading journal for evaluating their mistakes and bring one more quality in them which is patience.
Yes the point is when it comes to recover losses we should not loose more money while chasing the lost money, it is better to exit the trading if any loss is occured and spend the rest of time to figure out the reasons and learning from our mistakes.
