I think in binary options brokers want you to loose and they design it that way like dealing desk brokers in forex.

I don't trust EAs. But i have trade management EAs. Which can be used for high volatility movement periods like NFP. I don't trust my money with robots. I believe they can't keep up with all the changes of the market.

@sindarin I used demo for a long time. I made many mistakes and if those accounts were not demo then I would have lost lots of money by now. May be would not even recover lol. Demo helped me before and still learning to do better when trading live.

That's really sad. $500 is a big amount and loosing it on a wrong action is painful. I believe from this you learned to be more careful in future when trading.

@sourcecodefx your win rate is very nice. I mean 67% wins and almost 8000 trades is a good stat to judge. Just a question are you using you EA since 2011 or started recently?

Unless one is very confident that he or she can earn a lot from trading consistently one should not think about trading as only source of income. Even one is earning consistently then I would suggest him/her to create another source of income. No one knows about the future so better stay safe.

This is subjective and depends on market movement. My usual risk:reward ratio is 1:1.5 but many times it does not get fulfilled. Sometimes I have to close trades less than that ratio and sometimes I get 3 or 4 times more than what I expected. It depends on trading plan.

I don't use others analysis. Even if I am wrong (which at some point everyone is) I stick to my analysis. It works for me most of the time and at the end of most months I can stay in profit.

Sometimes the other side of the scalper can not hedge against the scalping strategy due to very short time. So it is one of the reasons they don't allow sclaping.

Honestly if one has a very good strategy why would he share it? A focused trader needs to focus on trading. A sharing will bring lots of distractions and extra stress. Just my opinion.
