When a newbie looks at the chart he/she see that price only goes up and down. So it is easy for them to think it is like walk in the park. Can't blame them.lol Most of us learn the fact the hard way.

It's different for different trader. For me it is achieving my financial freedom. And I am working with that goal. I am far away but I am slowly reaching there. Hope it will be soon.

Other than this I don't agree with anything. Every trader has a different approach towards the market. So limiting themselves is not a good idea in my opinion.

Slightly disagree with you. :) Analysis is important to develop a bias towards the currency pair. But what keeps a trader alive is proper risk management.

Letting emotion play a role in trading is not a wise idea. In the long run it will harm a trader. So we should overcome it and keep our emotions out of our trading.

Long term trading is not for retail traders with small amount of capital. It's good but the return is not good enough.It suits those who has huge amount of money. And there will always be events. So a trader has to accept the potential loss as well.
