When foreign exchange isn't popular, only importers and exporters are main participants but nowadays, banks and some institutions like hedge fund come in, which makes FX market more volatile.
It is true! Many traders when come into this market expect to earn thousands dollar a month but only invest some hundreds dollar. That misleading thought makes them more and more worse and find no ways to survive in long-term.
With small capital such as 100$, trader should only stick with 0.01 lot and not increase until equity is increased. Why only 0.01 lot? Because trader can open more positions to cover losses in case of losing. Higher lot size, more risk and it is not good at all.
Not many traders were the poor, because the poor can become more poor if they decide to join this business. The problem is little money they have are not for risking and trying to enter this market.
Student should either stay from this business or decide to considered it as part-time work. Knowledge is very important because student should only spend from one to two days a week to trade, profit isn't matter but the importance is how to keep profit running in long-time.
I think "how market works" should be involved in basic knowledge. Most traders don't know about this, and why traders should decrease leverage when their capital larger.
Because those brokers are themselves market makers or dealer. Remember that dealers don't only make money via spread but also losing trades because they make transactions against traders. Scalpers try to earn too little money and too fast for them to have chances to really benefit from traders...
Everest Markets seems good at ECN account. I used to join Demo contest in there but it is very bad as they don't update ranking, they always says they will update in some day but never do it ontime or even not.
Though they are regulated and received good ratings from FXEmpire, I personally...
This is one of my favorite broker because of its demo contest. Prize for places up to 20th, and minimum 200$, too much. I'd suspected it until I found that it was awarded by World Finance and Global Banking And Finance.
FXOptimax is first regulated broker, and I can mostly trust it. Second, their promotion is quite good, that is bonus posting. I don't know why their forum isn't as "hot" as MT5. Moreover, FXOptimax is voted as Best Micro Broker in Asia by FXEmpire.
I like this broker because of its promotion. It has many promotion: deposit bonus, free bonus money for posting (need to deposit) and demo contest. There are many constants using EA programs and so it's hard to beat them.
