I personally keep things simple. But I don't discourage if someone tries to use some complicated method. They should explore and see for themselves whether it works for them or not. Someone else should not decide it for them.
Other than putting large amount of real money, there is nothing bad a newbie trader can do. I encourage traders to test things out. Make mistake and learn from them. But they should do those in a demo account or with a small amount of money which he or she can afford to lose.
Well some people get deaf and blind when it comes to money. They learn this truth the hard way. But being greedy does not mean he will become a bad trader. If he learns from that mistake then he will not let bring greed in trading anymore.

Well I believe one of the reason is that people try to look for no deposit bonus and once they get the taste of it they search for more and such a time comes when either they trade with free money or don't invest at all.
A trader should not expect what he or she deserves but should take what market offers. If I had to take a deserved amount per trade then it would be $10,000 per trade. But I am nowhere near it. I take what market offers.
Well it is bound to happen. One can not be right all the time and their analysis will make wrong prediction and hence will lose if they don't manage risk properly.
You can call it a bad habit lol. Mine is also 22" and once my financial condition improves, I have plans to get a new computer with larger than my current monitor. As big as I can afford. lol
