Many traders look for a bonus on deposits, and most regulated ones don’t offer any, which I guess is a turn-off for the traders.

Being a scalper I prefer choosing an ECN broker. Then I check their spreads, commissions, leverage and the responsiveness of the customer support they offer.

Just because a broker is telling you that they offer the tightest spreads doesn’t mean they do. Make a few trades with them if you really want to find out the truth.

All the brokers that say they are ECN are not ECN in reality. Some of them are mere scams who are just waiting to loot you. So, better check the reviews before you choose any broker.

ECN brokers are a good choice to go for. Their low pricing and fast order execution are reasons why I prefer them.
